Our goal is to be an accessible resource for every child and youth experiencing foster care in Washington. In recent years, we have expanded our programs, opening eligibility for all school-aged youth in foster care across the state. This has improved access to our services, especially in rural and Tribal communities that have fewer available resources.

Volunteers are a critical part of how Treehouse supports youth in foster care. We welcome groups, individuals and families to join us.

Youth in foster care face challenges on every front: education, housing, poverty, justice, racism and more. We tackle change at the system level, advancing education and child welfare policies that improve outcomes for youth in foster care.
Whether it’s the academic success of our youth, increased engagement with youth in Tribal and justice systems, or advocacy for child welfare policies, we’re making an impact across the foster care landscape in Washington.
