Making a contribution of non-cash assets is a great way to support young people experiencing foster care while maximizing your tax benefits! 

Options include donating publicly traded stock, grants from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF), and for those 70½ and older, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) through your IRA. 

If you would like to make a gift of stock through your broker, please contact stock@treehouseforkids.org. We appreciate you taking this extra step since we want to make sure we correctly process and acknowledge your gift. 

We’ll need the following information: 

• Your name 
• Name of stock and approximate number of shares 
• Estimated date of transfer 
• Your broker’s name, company and telephone number

A Donor-Advised Fund allows you to recommend grants to Treehouse through your charitable giving account. 

To recommend a grant, please provide your sponsoring organization with the following information: 

• Legal Name: Treehouse 
• Mailing Address: 2100 24th Avenue S., Suite 200 Seattle, WA 98144-4643 
• Tax ID (EIN): 91-1425676 

When recommending your grant, please include your name and contact information so we can thank you and ensure your gift is designated according to your wishes.

NOTE – If you utilize Fidelity, Schwab, or BNY Mellon for your DAF, you can use the form below to make your DAF gift to Treehouse. 

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a tax-wise gift directly from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). 

To initiate a QCD, please provide your IRA administrator with the following information:
