At our free store, eligible youth in foster care and their caregivers can shop in person or submit an online request for high-quality clothing, school supplies, toys, books, and other essentials.

About the Treehouse Store
The Treehouse Store is a place where youth who have experienced foster care and their caregivers can get clothing, school supplies, toys, books, and more—all for free.
Our store carries items for infants, children, teens, and young adults that are high-quality and reflect current trends. Eligible participants may shop in-person or online up to 3 times per year.

To be eligible, youth must be:
Youth need an annual referral, unless they are enrolled in Graduation Success. Referrals are active from the date of submission until the end of the referral year (June 30th), regardless of changes in placement status.
Donating high-quality items to the Treehouse Store helps us maintain a diverse inventory and continue providing vital services to youth in foster care.
Volunteers help process items in our warehouse, provide excellent customer service, and fulfill online orders.

Eligible youth can shop at the Treehouse Store up to three (3) times per year, with a limit of one visit per month.
Please note:
Youth who are 13 years old and up may shop by themselves with picture ID. Teens are welcome to bring a friend or two along—if the store is busy, friends may have to wait in the lobby.
Caregivers will need their picture ID.
Social workers and other adults may shop for eligible Treehouse youth, as long as the primary caregiver has called in advance to give approval.
All shoppers should bring a photo ID.
Visits during open shopping hours don’t have any time limits. A typical visit for 1 youth takes approximately 45 minutes.
Appointments outside of open shopping hours are 60 minutes. If you are shopping for more than two youth or you need more than 60 minutes, please let store staff know when making the appointment.

We receive inventory every day and work hard to restock the store after each shopping day.
Absolutely! Currently, we are only able to accept returns in-person. However, our return/exchange policy is as follows:
We accept items in like-new condition and would love to have you re-donate items that you are no longer using. Please see our donation standards and hours before dropping them off.
All items must go to the eligible youth with a Treehouse referral. However, our book library is unlimited and available for everyone in the household!
