The Seattle Times: Treehouse Tops Goal in Boosting Five-Year Graduation Rates

Throughout the year, Taji Ellis, a Treehouse Education Specialist at Renton High School, meets with students to discuss their grades and attendance. Together, they map out short-term and long-term goals and come up with a plan for the students to reach them. If a student wants to be an astronaut, for example, Ellis and the student will look at how he can work toward that goal.
