Seattle Business Magazine Honors Janis Avery and 15 Visionaries Enterprises at The 2019 Community Impact Awards
SEATTLE (October 24, 2019) – Janis Avery was named the 2019 Lifetime Achievement honoree at Seattle Business magazine’s annual Community Impact Awards. The Avery family was joined by 15 other honorees recognized for their outstanding contributions to the community during a gala on October 24 at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Seattle.
A judges’ panel of experts selected gold and silver award recipients in eight categories. The awards program is supported by Presenting Sponsor Bank of America.
“We are so pleased to have so many incredible companies and organizations with us this evening that have truly shaped our community. Giving back to the community is good for business,” said Rob Smith, Editor-in-Chief of Seattle Business magazine. “As we’ll learn tonight, from large private companies to small nonprofits, organizations across the Puget Sound region are marrying passion and purpose to make a difference.”
