Treehouse Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Meet Shortfall

Champions Crowdfunding Campaign: treehouseforkids.org/Champions

Kids in foster care face bigger challenges than ever in these uncertain times.

Youth who would have paid some of their living expenses through part-time work are losing their jobs as restaurants, movie theaters and other venues close. Unfortunately, Treehouse had to cancel our Champions Luncheon, the organization’s biggest annual fundraiser. This creates a major shortfall at a critical juncture for children and youth in care.

In place of the fundraiser, we are launching a crowdfunding campaign today with interviews and other videos of youth aimed at raising $500,000 through March 18 (the date of the original fundraiser), with matching funds to hopefully approach $1 million total.

We don’t know what the future holds right now, but we do know that Treehouse will be there to partner with our youth, just like we have for 30 years.

Give now at treehouseforkids.org/Champions.
