Meet Treehouse’s Class of 2022!

   

Graduations are huge milestones and a result of years of hard work and perseverance. To highlight and celebrate their achievement, here are some of Treehouse’s 2022 graduates. We are so proud of all of them! See what graduating means to them and what their hopes are for their future.

“Graduating is important to me because it’s something I didn’t think was possible in previous years because, if I’m being honest, I wasn’t the best student at all. But here I am, set to graduate! In 10 years, I see myself creating my own show with all the characters I’ve made, and hopefully it will be a project near and dear to my heart. One word to describe how graduating makes me feel, and I’m going to be honest, is anxious, because one can never know what the future holds, right?”

“Graduating is important to me because, well one, I’ll be the first one in my family to graduate from high school and also into college, which I’ll be going to Central in the fall in Ellensburg. In 10 years, I see myself, hopefully, maintain a career of some sort. My goal is to become a social worker and start helping to change procedures and policies about foster families and how case workers do things because… I know how things work and I think it’ll be a good opportunity to help other foster youth such as myself. One word to describe graduation to me is proud because I am truly proud of myself and how far I’ve come as an individual and as a student and I hope in the next 10 years I see myself doing things I love and being around people I love as well and just continuing on being a great student and great person.”

I’m more than capable of achieving anything I want to, and getting that high school diploma is the first step in order to achieve all my goals, so I’m super excited. In 10 years, I see myself graduating from Whitworth University, and hopefully, I will be teaching and helping kids in need like Treehouse has helped me and like my teachers have helped me. I will be financially stable and healed and supporting myself. One word to describe how graduating makes me feel is excited. I’m excited to get out into the world and try new things and have independence and to be able to have that space to heal and grow on my own. Thank you Treehouse for supporting me all throughout high school. I really couldn’t have done it without you guys – you have no idea how much it means to me.”
