Champions 2024

Tuesday, April 23 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Thank you for a fantastic Champions 2024 — both virtually and in person at the Sheraton Grand Seattle.

This year, we celebrated stories from youth in foster care as they determine their paths to thrive, gathered with the Washington state foster care community — from youth in care to caregivers, advocates and more — to learn more about Treehouse’s road ahead and how you can become a champion for youth in foster care in your community.

There’s still time to make a donation and have your impact doubled, or even tripled!

Interested in Being a Champions Table Captain?

We Need Your Help!

Champions is our largest event of the year, and it’s only possible with the support of Table Captains. Being a Table Captain is simply sharing your commitment to supporting young people in foster care and inviting your friends, family and colleagues to join you.

You can host a virtual room of up to 20 people or a table of 10 at the in-person event. Check out these toolkits to get started and contact us with any questions at [email protected].

General FAQs

We Have Your Answers

Can you tell me more about the in-person event?

The in-person event is a luncheon in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Grand Seattle. It’s located in downtown Seattle at 1400 6th Avenue. There is valet parking and offsite parking nearby at the WAC and US Bank Centre. The doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program is from 12-1 p.m. There is no cost to attend but it is a fundraising event and there will be an ask.

Can I host a table and invite people to join online?

Yes! Even if you plan to attend in person, you can send invites to your network all over the state to join virtually.

What is the virtual experience?

Virtual rooms — some regional and some hosted by table captains — will open up at 11:30 a.m. You can video chat with friends or meet new people. Those rooms can hold up to 20 people on video, and there is also a chat feature. At 12 p.m., everyone leaves the chat rooms and heads to the main virtual stage to watch the virtual event. There will be interactive questions and polls and a moderated chat. The first 300 virtual guests who preregister will be sent a small gift ahead of time. There is also a place to donate at any time during the event.

What are the accessibility options?

The property has valet parking and elevators. Service animals are welcome and there will be an ASL interpreter and captions on videos. Let us know if you would have specific seating or other accessibility needs in your registration or by emailing us at [email protected].
