I am based in Seattle with my husband, Scott, an aerospace engineer. Both originally from Minnesota, we spent a decade in southern California before landing in Seattle in 2016. I have almost two decades of experience working in corporate retail. Currently, I am a Merchandise Category Planner for Nordstrom.
The mission of Treehouse resonates deeply with me due to multiple reasons. Being adopted myself, I understand the benefits I needed to become a happy adult. Additionally, my husband’s childhood benefited from government programs and housing. Finally, after working in retail, I am looking for more opportunities to give back. These experiences have fueled my passionate for lifting up disadvantaged and diverse students, with the ultimate goal of promoting greater equity within our Seattle community.
