Treehouse Welcomes Jeff Rainey as New Chief Operations Officer

Treehouse is excited to welcome Jeff Rainey (he/him) as our new Chief Operating Officer to lead the administrative functions that support Treehouse’s mission and expansion including Finance, People & Culture, Information Technology and Facilities. His role is critical to ensuring that the organization’s operations and infrastructure evolves to support Treehouse’s growth and goal of expanding statewide.

Rainey brings with him more than 30 years of experience, leading and developing youth and family community-based organizations. Some of his previous roles include Chief of Court Operations for the 13th Judicial Court Circuit (Tampa, Florida), where he was responsible for developing the first Children’s Advocacy Center and leading the Guardian ad Litem Program and all Juvenile and Family court services. Rainey was later selected as the CEO of a community-based organization responsible for all foster care- and child welfare-related services in the Tampa Bay area. In Seattle, he served as the Sr. Vice President/COO for the YMCA of Greater Seattle, where under his leadership the Y became the largest provider of youth homelessness services in King County and more than doubled their youth and family social services.

Jeff shared, “I have a passion for serving youth who are furthest away from opportunity and are involved in foster care and other systems. I am so impressed with the way Treehouse stands strong on its mission and commitment to ensure all young people have the opportunity to be educated, thrive and successful.”
