Reyana Ugás – CASA

Executive Chair

Reyana Ugás is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Supervisor with the Dependency CASA program through King County Superior Court. In her role, she trains and supports CASA volunteers who provide best interest advocacy for children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect.  Reyana has a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in sociology, cultural anthropology and community service from Saint Martin’s University. Reyana has been a social worker for over 10 years specializing in public child welfare, working with youth experiencing homelessness, and youth currently and formerly in foster care. Reyana first became familiar with Treehouse as a result of her work with the foster care system. Reyana believes strongly in the principles of equity, inclusion and justice and has helped develop and deliver specialized trainings and tools focusing on these areas for the CASA program.  In her free time, Reyana enjoys running, hiking, cooking and cheering for the Seattle Sounders.
