It’s Back-to-School Season Again!

By Marc McCord

Treehouse is once again preparing for our annual back-to-school season.

Each year Treehouse provides over a thousand youth and adolescents across Washington State with the critical resources they need to start the new school year strong. This year those supplies are more important than ever as students return to their classrooms, some for the first time in more than a year and a half.

You can help students start the year off right by hosting a drive to fill closets and backpacks for youth in care. Becoming a drive host is an easy way to get involved and to rally support from your family, workplace, house or worship, or community group.

All back-to-school drives will be conducted digitally this year and we have created Digital Drive Kits to make the process easy for you and your community. Kits include information about Treehouse, templates for social media posts, a detailed needs list, sample emails, and even logos for you to use in promotion.

If hosting a drive isn’t the best option for you, you can still be involved in setting students up for a successful school year. You can purchase items from our Wish List and they will be delivered directly to the Treehouse Store team, or you can make a cash donation that staff will use to purchase needed supplies.

We look forward to partnering with our wonderful community once again, all in support of our youth!
