The Wearhouse
WHAT WE DO
The Wearhouse is a free store where kids shop for clothing they need in styles they want, along with school supplies, toys, books and other essentials..
ELIGIBILITY
Treehouse services are available to all children in King County living in out-of-home care, including those living with relatives other than birth parents. Before you can use the Wearhouse, your DCFS social worker must complete and return a Treehouse referral form. See our complete eligibility guidelines.
- Each foster youth needs a new referral every calendar year for the Wearhouse. Referrals can be sent to referrals@treehouseforkids.org
- The Wearhouse will send a postcard with information about shopping hours within 3-5 business days of receiving a referral.
If you have questions about a youth's eligibility to shop, please call the Wearhouse at (206) 267-5185.
