Back-to-School Drive
Most kids have butterflies on their first day of school. Foster kids have helicopters. Your Back-to-School donation drive will give more than 1,500 kids confidence so they can go back to school fitting in, feeling great, and ready to learn.
Here's how it works in a nutshell.
Rally friends and coworkers to donate clothes, backpacks, or cash to send kids back to school. Get the word out by talking to friends, neighbors, coworkers, send emails, and use your social network. Here's a sample email for you.
Hang posters in high-traffic areas and place a wishlist in everyone's mailboxes at work. Here are the poster and wishlist for you to print.
Talk it up at staff meetings, kid's soccer games, the pool, send an announcement in your work newsletter or slip the information into a meeting agenda.
Set up a central place to collect donations.
Deliver your donations to Treehouse.
